A good way to do something different from the usual! It's easy to do some sports or some music maybe even some workshops here and there for random skills but its a different vibe when it's done naked! In the trees even! ;)

Beautiful, Life affirming experience! Felt so at home surrounded by genuine beautiful souls, bodies and nature. By far the cleanest, most respectful event I've been to. Seeing the camp site left spotless as people left was so good to see and lined up with the level of care and respect the organisers and attendees had while there. Can't wait to come back!

Before attending, I had some hesitations about this event potentially being a little bit snobby or pretentious. I was wrong. I felt like I had landed on my home planet as soon as I arrived at our campsite. The level of nudity and bodily expression is 100% up to the individual - there is not pressure on anyone. Likewise, there is no judgement, the diversity of body types and just people being comfortable in their own skin was amazing. I didn't witness any bad vibes. The play space was also non-threatening for someone who had not been into anything like that before either. The parties and music were next level, and the friendly, amazing daytime vibe was just next level. I thoroughly recommend this for seasoned players and newbies alike - you will find your people and acceptance as whoever you are :)

Best festival ever! It just had the most comfortable and amazing vibe. You could be your naturally quirky self, and no one takes a second glance. I loved this. The play tent was also a well-thought out and well setup zone that added an extra element of comfort for those looking to experiment a little more. The workshops were really great with a focus on topics that need to be talked about more. I'm a huge fan and will forever be back!

Chill vibes, great learning experiences, wonderful people.

Get ready to unplug from normal life and connect with gorgeous humans across a stunning landscape. Felt so freeing and accepting. Can't wait to come back!

Having been to several Undie Party events and only just missing out on the last Naked Dinner, being able to go to a space where nudity is so normalised that clothed people look naked is such a joy. Lisa knocked it out of the park (and into the wilderness!) with this one.

From listening to people discuss sexual pleasure in an open forum, dancing with strangers in all states of undress to swimming into a cave inside a waterfall and watching the sun set through the curtain of water?

I cannot really describe the experience other than a hedonists playground.

What a delightful experience. I'll see you all next year.

Honestly one of the most welcoming festivals I’ve ever been to. It felt like walking into a community of people I’d known for years.

I attended the inaugural NITT, and honestly, I didn’t think it could get any better—but here I am, completely eating my words! What an absolutely unforgettable weekend! Lisa and her team crafted an exceptional festival, perfectly balancing naturist vibes with hedonistic energy to cater to a wide range of interests and experiences. The sound system was top-notch, and the DJs absolutely killed it. Special shoutouts to DirdyGerdi for her Saturday night dance fest and Amandamania for an incredible closing set, with the most beautiful communal breath at the end. I felt completely at ease and safe, embracing my true self in all my natural, naked glory. Truly a phenomenal experience!

I have never felt so safe and accepted in all my life. A phenomenal vibe the entire weekend. Cannot wait to go again ❤️

I loved it! Fantastic experience! Never felt so open, free, and vulnerable in a way Naked In The Tree offers and lets us be. It was such mind opening 3 days, and it became so natural to be out and free in the open nature. It's definitely going to be our annual must event!

I personally loved this festival. I have been to many events and never felt like I fit in. I felt like I found my tribe here. I could be who i wanted to be. One day dressed up, and the next totally naked and free.

I was a bit concerned about what happened at the festival, especially because I went by myself.
That was fantastic, safe, fun, and relaxing. It is a festival to put on my calendar.

If you ever thought of a body as rolling meadow with stream running through, dark crevices and ample peaks you should come to NITT as the venue resembles just that. You can get naked with mother nature and explore and be curious in lots of different ways without a judgement. Be happy and loose control. (Omg it's cheesy, doh)

Incredible weekend filled with learning, experiences, new friends and out of this world entertainment. All in the beautiful king country. Can't wait for the next one!

It was my first time to a clothing-optional festival, so I wasn't sure what this would be like. Especially going alone. I found everyone to be very non-judgemental and felt safe the whole time. Everyone was so friendly and relaxed. You could basically choose your own intimacy/sexual adventure and not be distracted by the adventures you don't choose. The location was beautiful, although there was plenty of hill climbing involved. The workshops were informative and invited some great experiences. I wasn't out super late due to an injury, but I didn't see anyone wasted which was good to see. I'll def consider going back next year.

It was such a privilege to be a part of this festival, I made great connections with so many people, the fire circle was amazing and the play space was so great, that I am speechless.I cannot wait for Feb 2026!!!!

its was a great festival, hardly saw anyone drinking, wasn’t booze fuelled, every one was very happy and none judgemental , talked to each other. saw no problems just peace and happiness. loved the friendly atmosphere

Just a magical festival in a great setting with open minded people. You don't HAVE to get naked if you aren't comfortable and you'll have an amazing time!

Just incredible! My body, mind and soul were enriched way beyond my expectations. The vibe was so chill, so open, so respectful and so relaxed. I am still processing it all … a week or so afterwards. If I could sum it up on one word … that would be joy !

Naked in the trees offered me the space and time to be naked with other non judgemental people, the mind body sex positive attitude was well embraced, people were open to expressing and sharing their kinks and desires, the diversity of genders and sexuality was comforting, I personally loved seeing men wearing naughty knickers and hosiery. See you in 2026.

Naked in the Trees was my first ever festival and it did not disappoint. It was liberating to be amongst like-minded people in a safe judgement free space where freedom and pleasure could be explored without (many) limitations. The event brought me closer with my friends and myself, which is more than I could have asked for.

Naked in the trees was such a great experience. I felt comfortable the whole time (first time at a clothes optional festival), everyone was respectful, the workshops I attended left me feeling relaxed and happy, it was a safe space to explore curiosities and I would for sure attend again!

NIIT has become my new, favourite NZ festival! It is small enough to really feel like a community is being built, but also big enough that you get lost in all the sexy magic.

NITT 2025 was an epic experience & I am already looking forward to 2026!!
It is truly a gathering of beautiful people bringing great vibes & smiles. It was awesome to see people just be so authentically themselves💜.

NITT is an amazing place to feel free and accepted as you are. Clothed or unclothed the community ensures everybody feels safe to express themselves and enjoy all that the festival has to offer. Highly recommend, will be back every year :)

NITT was such a beautiful connective and awakening experience. The workshops were a total highlight for us. So many amazing creative and talented people!

NITT was such an amazing experience. The people, the music, the vibe, the events, everything was amazing. I got so lost in the experience I completely missed a bunch of things I had planned to do. And that's ok because I'll be back next year.

NITT was the most amazing, freeing experience of my life so far! Everyone was so accepting, saying hello walking by, helping to set up camps and carrying stuff in.

One of the most enjoyable weekends of my life. Got to spend time discovering new things and enjoying the company of like minded people, all whilst surrounded by the beauty of the king country. 10/10!

Phenomenal experience as a newbie to play parties, my partner and i fell comfortable and safe at all times. it opened new doors for both of us and their is no way we wont be coming back next year.

This event is super relaxing, and felt really nice to be at one with the trees whilst dancing to great music and. Connecting with likeminded souls.

This festival was everything I wanted and more! I came not knowing what to expect but hearing whispers about the first festival. Coming from AUM which has quite a similar vibe without the nudity, it felt just as big and amazing as the bigger festivals with all the amazing connection and intimacy of a smaller one! Everyone was soooo friendly, we instantly made friends with a group of people and it was just so open and accepting, everyone you came across gave you a smile and a hello. Being so open and free on the dance floor was such an amazing and unexpected feeling, like nothing I had ever experienced before! Being surrounded by such beautiful souls inside and out, it had an amazing feeling of belonging. Thank you for this festival and I can't wait to do it again!

This is my second NIIT and I'm planning to continue attending. Thanks all involved for this beautiful experience. It's such an epic, safe, wonderful space. I love the experience to feel free, safe, connected with myself, others and to Papatūānuku. The workshops I've attended were wonderful, the music was delightful, the site was amazing, the vibes were perfect, the playground was very well stablished and managed. Thanks everyone for making this happen in such a magical way!

This was my first event of its kind. I was amazed about all the beautiful people , friendliness and love going around. I could never have imagined such a welcoming and accepting group of people all in one space. The safety aspect was respected by all and it was truly a safe space for all to enjoy. I look forward to 2026 to meet some new people and have new refreshing experiences.

This was my first festival and I wouldn’t hesitate to come again and encourage others to join! What a crowd of lovely people to take part in epic workshops, have a boogie and if it feels right enjoy a bit more spicy activity. The organisers put a huge focus on safety and consent. Can’t wait for next year.

We had the most magical weekend together celebrating our 9 year anniversary. The workshops we attended were beautiful and such a fun way to break up the day. The sauna was such a highlight for me! I only wish every festival had that idea

We traveled from Wanaka and had a great time, we met a lot of people and loved the whole vibe, as a first time overnight festival goer and nude optional experience we were a little nervous at first but by lunchtime Saturday I had no problem getting completely into the festival spirit. It was great to see such a huge cross section of fellow humans having a fun time in such a relaxed piece of paradise. A big thank you to everyone who made this event possible and especially the guardians in the Playsure Lounge , they did an outstanding job and we felt comfortable the whole time we were there and now we look forward to the next Naked in the trees , we would love to see Naked in the trees in central Otago, roll on Naked in the trees 2026, cheers Nathan and Kat 🥰

We weren’t entirely sure what to expect from Naked in the Trees, but it blew us away! The highlights were the Mad Hatter’s tea party, swimming in the waterfall, and the stunning landscape and lighting. An unexpected bonus was the incredible friends we made! We even started a WhatsApp group called ‘Tree Neighbours’ to stay in touch and can’t wait to reconnect next year! Thank you so much Lisa and team for an incredible, safe and fun weekend of reconnecting with my partner, it was just what we needed.

What an experience! The feeling of freedom and community at this event was incredible. In the whole weekend, I didn't witness any aggression or poor behaviour. I felt safe and could be as involved as I wanted without any pressure. The music was amazing, the community was amazing. Will definitely come again and bring all our friends.

Wonderful R18 event for freedom with adults. Bring sun hat and sunscreen! So much to do and see. Lovely people and great relaxed fun vibe throughout. Good sounds and workshops experiences for all types of free thinking people. This will be a must on our yearly calendar now!
