Two parties in one night! Before even the guests arrived, the day was hella fun — the absolute pouring rain even added to the coziness of pack-in. We started with a big blank canvas of white walls and a poured concrete floor that is used as a photography studio day to day. The trusted team in charge of the insanely good sound system (you should see the drawings created in prep), the bar and prep for the Peddlers Gin cocktails named “Dashing Redhead” & “Rosy Cheeks”, signage, aerial equipment — hoop & hammock, the chill area of bean bags & rugs, string curtains, and of course lighting.
At our 5pm kickoff we had Bon Voyage filming and Lusting Lovers photographing the night — you can view her amazing photographs below. Jayde (the woman behind Lusting Lovers) runs her sensual + intimate boudoir studio to fuel women and men with confidence. And her photographs do just that.
Guests entered the venue, Space on Crummer, beneath a carpet of fairy flights and foliage. It wasn’t long before friends were lending a hand to the cloakroom as those inside discovered the courtyard and photo area behind a wall of string curtains. 22 presents had been hidden around the venue that included tickets to the next event and free drinks tokens... some were so well hidden we found two the next day.
During Biggi’s set, Pascal Roggen played the violin. Never seen a set like it. Then during Amanda-Mania’s set, Sky and Kirsty gathered the entire party for their aerial hoop performance. And finally at 10:30pm it was time for me to thank everyone for making the first party so much fun, but it was time for everyone to form the walking-bus and head over to the second venue of the night… Anthology Lounge.
You’ll see from the photos the antics that went on at both venues. But walking into Anthology to Erica Kayes booming drum & bass set, was nothing short of epic. The energy in everyone was already so high, and she raised it even further.

The second Undie Party dressed the undeniably stunning Space on Crummer for Auckland’s eccentric event of the summer.
The main space became an idyllic club dungeon. Throughout the evening, surprise entertainment took place in the courtyard and amongst the string curtains. Hidden gems were found around the venue that included tickets to the next event and free drink tokens.
Last entry to the main event was 7pm — sunset was at 6pm.
A grazing table created by the incredible Peter Raimondo was devoured at the main event.
Moving towards a mini Undie festival, at the close of the main event guests were escorted by Walking Bus chaperones for an 8 minute ride to the after party.
